At the Diyanet Center — there is ample free parking in the underground garage beneath the main mosque.
At the dinner — as the event falls on a Sunday, street parking along the roads around the apartment is free. Guest parking is also available in the building’s underground garage; passes are arranged on the day, so kindly reach out to us and we’ll get one sorted for you.
Park in the underground garage beneath the main mosque, then take the stairs up into the main mosque building — the Nikkah will be held in the main hall. Ladies, kindly remember a scarf to cover your head. If you need help on the day, call Ahsan at (828) 781-5040.
Our dinner is in the club room on the 11th floor of Camden Potomac Yard Apartments. When you arrive, stop by the front desk in the main lobby and let them know you’re here for the wedding dinner in the club room. They’ll give you access to the elevator — take it up to the 11th floor, step out and turn right, and the club room is just down the hall.
We’d love a soft, coordinated palette — only if it’s easy for you:
Groom’s side — gentlemen in a cream, off-white or white kurta; ladies in baby blue, light pink or light pistachio green.
Bride’s side — ladies in pink; gentlemen in an off-white kameez with a light-coloured waistcoat.
Most of all, please come comfortable.
Yes — as the Nikkah takes place in the mosque, head coverings are required for ladies. Kindly bring a scarf or dupatta to cover your head during the ceremony.
We’d love to help:
Groom’s side — Ahsan, (828) 781-5040.
Bride’s side — Maha, (219) 765-9097.
